Highline Medical Center has two physician-staffed ERs open 24 hours a day. In April of 2010, Highline opened a state-of-the-art, 27,000-square-foot Emergency Room on its Main Campus featuring 32 private patient rooms, flat-screen TVs, a separate ambulance entrance, bedside patient registration and 64-slice CT and imaging services. This new spacious facility will better serve the community and provide more efficient care for a high volume of patients. The Main Campus ER is certified as a Level 4 trauma center serving South King County and is the primary entry point for cardiac and stroke care programs and surgical emergencies. The Specialty Campus ER features six beds and provides basic level emergency care to the Riverton/Tukwila area and the surrounding communities.
