Family Program

Chemical dependency is regarded by many as a family disease because the disease profoundly affects anyone close to the chemically dependent person. In our Family Program, we help family and/or friends learn the tools needed to take care of themselves while supporting their loved one’s recovery.

Statistics and experience indicate that the chance of recovery is significantly improved if family members become involved in a treatment program to learn how this disease has impacted their life. Therefore, we encourage and expect family and/or friends to participate in the Family Program.

The Highline Addiction Recovery Center Family Program is free of charge to family and friends of our patients, as well as to all who are interested. HRS offers family educational and continuing care groups three days a week.
